I'm still working on my little sister's fair costume. I now have the top and the under skirt finished. I have the petals, over skirt, belt, and wings to make

October 4th 2010

Last week I was sick and then lazy and I just needed some time to relax, so that means I wasn't very creative. Now I'm back, for the last two days I have been cutting out the pattern and material for my little sisters Halloween fairy costume. She is going to be so cute in it.

First off I finished my Little Sister's dress, all that needed to be done was to add the zipper

But I didn't think that was creative enough, so I made a neclace for my friend

I finished my Little Sister's dress...well all but the zipper which I will get this weekend because I forgot to get it when I got the material for the dress. It is so cute, will totally match her doll's dress, and was super easy to make, even if the Project runway pattern was hard to understand.

September 1st 2010

So I have a whole shelf full of things to make and things that need fixed, I finally sat down and fixed something, a quilt my mom had made for my kitten Panda because she loved to sit in my arm chair and would get it covered in black and white fur. Bad thing was that once the blanket was covered in hair I tried to wash it and some of the seams came apart because it was made out of flannal and didn't hold up well.
Well now my baby kitten has her blanket back even though her brother is now using it.

I then went back to my Little Sister's dress and started putting it together, I now have the top and sleaves all put together. It is going to be so cute.

August 31st 2010

So I started off trying to make a banner for my story In Witch... but then I realized that I still have no idea how to do anything on photoshop.

I was trying to recreate this picture but it didn't work

So knowing that I needed to actually do something creative I started working on My Little Sister's dress for her birthday.

August 29th 2010

My mom got my Little Sister a doll for her birthday but all because I told the little munchkin that I would make her a dress for her birthday and now her doll needed a dress to match.

My mom also taught me how to do some of the things she learned in her cake decorating class today. Four hours with my hands cover in icing is insane.

On the back of my colored pencils it says "Use a wet paint brush over this to create a watercolor effect. For bold details, use a dry pencil on top of wet paper. Another technique is to crate 'pencil color palettes' by sketching dense color swatches onto plain paper, leaving room between swatches for mixing colors. Using a wet brush, dip into the 'dry pencil palette' and paint with vibrant custom color."

So I had to give this second suggestion a try.

Sadly I still can't actually paint with any talent :)

I actually tried to be slightly more creative then just doing one thing. I have had a pattern and material for months, so I sat done and cut out all the pieces, unfortuntly I have gained some weight since I actually got the material and I ran out and now have to go get more for the lining. I think it is going to be cute when it is done, this is what I have so far.

Here are some things I have made in the past
